Unleashing the Light
When it came down to it,
There I was again--caught
In the old familiar crosshairs of uncertainty.
Go forward? Go back?
The well-worn groove of here and now
Was strangely perilous.
I thought I knew life’s love. . . . I thought I knew ambition.
I thought I knew faith’s place.
Now I swim in questions.
They stick to my skin. . . . some may draw blood.
What to do? What to do?
Maybe it isn’t the doing, but the being.
So I’ll be here awhile . . .unleash my light
And see what comes.
