Why should I hire Susan?
Susan R. Symington has a wealth of experience dealing with organizations and people at all levels. She worked for the Central Intelligence Agency for 31 years, most recently managing human and budgetary resources for the National Clandestine Service. Retired since July 2009, she now coaches executives in the US Government and in the private sector, and is a partner in COPIA Coaching and Consulting, a group of three former senior CIA executives.
She has created and run leadership development programs and coaching services; developed internal methods of succession planning; counseled employees in trouble; and guided and mentored junior officers on their way up the organizational ladder.
In addition, Susan has completed the Newfield Coach Training Program and has coached executives inside the CIA as well as entrepreneurs and business executives.
She is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Washington D.C. chapter, and of the International Consortium of Coaching in Organizations (ICCO).
